Sickdle is a symptom-reveal disease guessing game. The round opens with one symptom; each wrong guess reveals one more. You get 6 tries total. Fewest guesses wins the round. The English version is called Sickdle; the Turkish counterpart, Hastadle, shares the same dataset translated into Turkish.
⚠️ Important disclaimer
Sickdle is for entertainment only and does not constitute medical advice. The symptom-disease pairings shown here are drawn from public medical references (Mayo Clinic, NHS, WHO) but should not be used for personal health assessment. If you have any health concerns, please consult a healthcare professional.
How to play
Open a room or play solo from the home page. In the "Health" category, pick the "Sickdle" tile.
The first symptom appears as the round starts (e.g. "High fever"). One symptom alone is rarely conclusive — it shows up in dozens of conditions.
Pick a disease from the autocomplete search. Start typing and matches appear; click or press Enter to submit.
A wrong guess unlocks the next symptom. By the 6th guess all 6 symptoms are visible.
The round ends for you once you guess it. In multiplayer, fewest guesses earns 3 points, second 2, third 1. Players who don't solve earn 0.
Strategy
The first symptom is just a starting point. A generic clue like "fever" fits dozens of diseases. Most players are better off waiting for 2-3 symptoms before committing.
Symptom order is meaningful. Earlier-revealed symptoms are generic (fever, fatigue); later ones are distinctive (loss of taste and smell, visual aura, Koplik spots). The answer usually crystallises around symptom 4-5.
Trade off carefully. A wrong guess reveals more info but burns an attempt. Sometimes waiting is more efficient than guessing blindly.
Use the autocomplete. The suggestion list helps avoid typos and accepts common colloquial names too (typing "flu" finds Influenza, typing "diabetes" finds Type 2 Diabetes).
Data source
Diseases and symptoms are hand-curated from publicly-available medical references — Mayo Clinic, NHS, and WHO patient-information pages. The current pool contains ~35 well-known conditions including the common cold, flu, COVID-19, migraine, diabetes, hypertension, depression and more. Suggest new entries at info@onlinedle.com.
Why it plays differently in multiplayer
Everyone in the room is dealt the same target disease. Players solve at their own pace; progress badges show how many guesses each player has used without revealing their guesses. An early solver puts pressure on the rest; latecomers see more symptoms but score less. Three solvers split 3-2-1.
