Onlinedle is a multiplayer guessing-game platform. No signup, no app, no credit card — just a nickname and a room link. This page walks through how the platform actually works.
The first thing you see on the home page is the nickname field. Type whatever you want: real name, gamertag, "Striker27" — anything. The nickname is stored in your browser's localStorage only; we never persist it on our servers and never share it.
If two "Polat" enter the same room, the second one becomes "Polat-2" automatically. Name collisions are handled silently.
Three options:
Room codes are short and uppercase: "AB12CD". The full URL looks like "https://onlinedle.com/r/AB12CD". Copy the URL into WhatsApp, Discord, Slack — any chat tool — and your friends are one click away.
The first player to enter becomes the host. Only the host picks games; everyone else plays whatever the host selects. The catalog covers 60+ games across 10 categories:
The host picks a game; everyone in the room plays the same puzzle simultaneously. Each player's screen shows their own attempt; progress badges sync across players showing who's finished, who's still trying.
Scoring depends on the game type:
After a round ends, the host can pick a new game or restart the same one. Scores accumulate across the whole session and reset when the room closes (everyone leaves). No data is ever persisted.
If the host leaves, the role automatically passes to the next-oldest player. As host, you can also remove a player from the room via their listing menu.
Onlinedle works on any modern browser. Mobile auto-adjusts the keyboard layout and shrinks game boards to fit. Desktop supports physical keyboard input — Enter to submit, Backspace to delete, letters typed directly.
