Onlinedle is a multiplayer guessing-game platform. No signup, no app, no credit card — just a nickname and a room link. This page walks through how the platform actually works.
1. Pick a nickname
The first thing you see on the home page is the nickname field. Type whatever you want: real name, gamertag, "Striker27" — anything. The nickname is stored in your browser's localStorage only; we never persist it on our servers and never share it.
If two "Polat" enter the same room, the second one becomes "Polat-2" automatically. Name collisions are handled silently.
2. Create a room or join one
Three options:
Solo: Play alone. All games are accessible except multiplayer-only ones (TKMdle, Tekdle).
Create room: Spin up a new room with a 6-character code. You become the host.
Join room: Enter a code from someone else's invite to drop into their room.
Room codes are short and uppercase: "AB12CD". The full URL looks like "https://onlinedle.com/r/AB12CD". Copy the URL into WhatsApp, Discord, Slack — any chat tool — and your friends are one click away.
3. Pick a game
The first player to enter becomes the host. Only the host picks games; everyone else plays whatever the host selects. The catalog covers 60+ games across 10 categories:
Wordle - Turkish and English, 5 to 10 letters
Anti-Wordle 5 and 6 - Wordle inverted: last 6 guesses without typing the answer
Narrowdle - binary-search the dictionary (5, 6 or 7 letters) alphabetically to find the secret word
Quordle - solve four words at once
Mathdle - math equations
Online games - LoLdle, Valdle, Dotadle, Pokedle
TV series - Kurtlar Vadisi, Thronedle (Game of Thrones)
Anime - Narutodle, One Piecedle
Sports - Footballdle, Basketdle, F1dle
Vehicles - Cardle, Bikedle
Geography - Countrydle, Citydle
Books & films - Filmdle, Heroesdle, Disneydle, Harrydle, Lotrdle
Health - Sickdle (guess the disease from symptoms; entertainment only, not medical advice)
Mini games - Colordle, Soundle, Reflexdle, Stopwatchdle, Chessdle, TKMdle, Tekdle
4. Round flow
The host picks a game; everyone in the room plays the same puzzle simultaneously. Each player's screen shows their own attempt; progress badges sync across players showing who's finished, who's still trying.
Scoring depends on the game type:
Position-based (3-2-1): Most games. First to finish gets 3 points, second 2, third 1, others 0.
Attempts-based: Logo, quote, silhouette modes. Fewer attempts = more points.
Metric-based: Quordle awards points equal to boards solved; Colordle to colour accuracy; Reflexdle to reaction time ranking.
5. Next round
After a round ends, the host can pick a new game or restart the same one. Scores accumulate across the whole session and reset when the room closes (everyone leaves). No data is ever persisted.
If the host leaves, the role automatically passes to the next-oldest player. As host, you can also remove a player from the room via their listing menu.
6. Mobile and desktop
Onlinedle works on any modern browser. Mobile auto-adjusts the keyboard layout and shrinks game boards to fit. Desktop supports physical keyboard input — Enter to submit, Backspace to delete, letters typed directly.
Common issues
"I joined but the room is empty": Your friend may have copied the URL incorrectly. Verify it starts with /r/ and ends with a 6-character code.
"The game won't load": Make sure JavaScript is enabled. Some ad blockers may interfere with assets; whitelist Onlinedle if needed.
"My score reset": Either the room closed, or you re-entered with a different room code. Returning to the same URL preserves your score.
