The word pools
Valid guesses come from open lists derived from LibreOffice hunspell dictionaries (tens of thousands of words per length); targets are picked from the most frequent Spanish words per subtitle corpora, so the answer is always a word you would recognise.
Tips
Open with vowels. Spanish is vowel-rich; words like "aireo" or "canoa" clear several at once.
Endings help. Many 5 and 6-letter words end in -ar, -er, -ir, -oso, -ada.
Think conjugated verbs. The valid pool includes verb forms, so "canto" or "corre" are legal probes.
