Wafledle is Wordle inverted: the letters are already in front of you, just in the wrong places. A 5x5 waffle grid holds six words, three across and three down, arriving scrambled. Tap two letters to swap them. You get 15 swaps.
How it works
Green means home. You cannot pick a green letter up, which also stops you wasting a swap on one.
Yellow belongs to that word but sits in the wrong box. It needs to move somewhere else along the same word.
Grey does not belong to that word at all. It has to cross over to another one.
Intersections belong to two words at once. A letter turns yellow if either word wants it, which makes the crossing squares the most informative on the board.
Scoring
Points come from thrift, not speed: solving scores your remaining swaps plus one. Spend all 15 and solve, and you take 1 point; solve without spending any and you take 16. Fail to solve and you take 0, so finishing late still beats not finishing, while swapping at random gets expensive fast.
Tips
Start at the corners. A corner is the first or last letter of two words at once, so landing one locks down both.
Follow the grey letters. Grey says the letter is in the wrong word entirely, which means it has to move to the other axis.
Plan chains instead of poking. If A's letter belongs in B and B's belongs in C, work out the order first; random swaps burn the budget and scramble the colours.
Every puzzle is solvable in at most 11 swaps. You have 15, so four mistakes are already paid for.
Turkish and English
The Turkish version draws on Wordle's Turkish word pool and the English version on the English one, with 400 ready-made puzzles per language. The Turkish side uses the correct uppercase mapping, so i becomes İ and ı becomes I.
Multiplayer
Open a room and everyone gets the same puzzle. Who solved it in how many swaps shows live in the player rail beside the board. No account needed, just share the room link.
